Losing a loved one to the cold hands of Death is never a pretty experience. Those affected are usually so affected that they sink into a depression so deep that some never come out of it as they take their life and end it all.
Popular Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh has finally broken his spell of silence concerning his wife's death at the hands of a black-haired male with a thick build who accosted his wife as she just closed from work around 5 pm on 10th May 2018.
The attack
The guy had approached her brandishing a gun which caused them to panic and tried to flee. This move prompted the guy to shoot her which culminated in her death in a Maryland hospital. This sad event occurred in Maryland US and since then until recently, Chris Attoh has been silent.
Chris Attoh and Bettie Jenifer had gotten married in a private wedding that was held at Dansoman in Accra, Ghana on 6th October 2018 which was about 8 months prior to the unfortunate incident.
Chris Attoh's interview with Zion Felix
Speaking to Zion Felix in an interview, he made reference to a suspicious tweet that made news at the time saying that the tweet was about being truthful in relationships and nothing else and that if he was guilty of his wife's murder, he would not be around.
He further stated that being a quiet person and a keen observer, he had decided to be silent on the incident. He concluded by saying that his previous sins of being upfront and open have led to his loved ones being affected and as such he decided to protect his wife's memory by not disclosing some bits of information. Perhaps he did that out of love and respect for her memory.
When a loved one dies in such a sudden manner, their loved ones are usually the prime suspect but he has finally cleared the air that he's innocent of the murder. To be candid though I must commend him for his long silence on this issue and continue to pray that the Lord continue to encourage and console him as he moves on to other things - bigger and better things.
