Afam Osigwe (SAN) Inaugurated as 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association

Afam Osigwe, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has officially taken his oath of office, marking the beginning of his tenure as the 32nd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). Osigwe's term is set to last for two years, during which he has pledged to foster an inclusive bar that emphasizes unity and progress within the association. He succeeds Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau (SAN), under whose leadership the NBA introduced the digital stamp for lawyers, a significant innovation aimed at modernizing legal practices in Nigeria.
In his inaugural address, Osigwe stressed the importance of collaboration among members of the NBA. He congratulated fellow candidates Tobenna Erojikwe and Chukwukwa Ikwazom (SAN) for their exemplary conduct throughout the election process.
The legal community eagerly anticipates Osigwe's leadership and the potential reforms he will implement to propel the NBA forward in the coming years.
