At age six, going to school I was taught to believe and uphold the honour of my country Nigeria, Many in my generation did, but as we are growing up that faith, love and respect for the country of our birth begins to fade away, years after years government regimes came and go and today we are left faithless, but that is not the worst part of it, the worst is that it is very clear that the current generation and those to come after have no hope of a better tomorrow, as any youth around you and the first thing they will tell you is, if there is an opportunity to get out of this country,? They will not think of it twice before moving out and never coming back. Who did this to us, where have we gotten it wrong? We have tried military rule and now democracy but still, we are moving backwards rather than forward. Is there hope, will things ever change?
