The 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, has threatened to call off the ceasefire agreement between Gaza and Israel, warning that "all hell will break loose" if Hamas fails to release all hostages by midday Saturday.

“As far as I’m concerned, if all of the hostages aren’t returned by Saturday at 12 o’clock, I think it's an appropriate time. I would say cancel it, and all bets are off—let hell break out. I’d say they ought to be returned by 12 o’clock on Saturday,” Trump said.

While acknowledging that Israel could override him on this matter, Trump hinted that the ceasefire could end even sooner if Hamas fails to comply. However, he extended a final opportunity for Hamas to act, stating that he would speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the situation.

Trump has expressed frustration over the condition of the recently freed hostages, describing them as being in critical health conditions. He criticized Hamas for releasing hostages in small numbers and under poor conditions, demanding a mass release instead.

Under the ongoing agreement, Hamas was set to release more Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and other detainees held by Israel. However, the militant group abruptly halted further releases, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement.

On Monday, Hamas announced that it would no longer free Israeli hostages "until further notice," escalating the risk of renewed conflict.

Trump also issued a separate warning to Jordan and Egypt, threatening to withhold U.S. aid if they refuse to accept Palestinian refugees fleeing Gaza. Despite receiving billions of dollars in U.S. aid annually, both nations have remained firm in their refusal to open their borders, citing security risks.

This rejection has reportedly left Trump frustrated, as he had expected financial leverage to influence their decisions.

With tensions rising and the ceasefire hanging by a thread, all eyes are on Saturday’s deadline—and on whether Hamas will comply with Trump’s ultimatum or risk the wrath of both the U.S. and Israel.
